About mateship
Mateship makes it simple for patients in Australia to access complete digital healthcare from home, including natural options like unapproved medicine. Through our platform, patients can enjoy video consultations, prescriptions, treatment delivery, and ongoing support—all in one place.
Mateship is designed for Australians with chronic conditions seeking an alternative to traditional medicine. It’s available to anyone over 18 and to those under 18 with a medical condition, provided they have a legal guardian present during an online consultation.
With Mateship, patients are connected to qualified doctors and pharmacists. If you want to become a Mateship patient, you just need to schedule a Telehealth appointment with one of our doctors. If the doctor decides that you are eligible, your doctor will write you a prescription, and we’ll coordinate payment and delivery for you, as well as ongoing care. You can access our services from anywhere, so you don’t have to drive to the pharmacy or doctor’s office.
About bookings
At Mateship, we offer flexible payment options to suit your budget and needs. Initial consultations are $80, and follow-ups are just $40. For those who prefer unlimited consultations and follow-ups, we also offer a subscription plan starting at only $19/month.
You’ll only pay for your doctor’s consultation after completing the pre-screening and being made your booking. No payment is required before the pre-screening, and you’re not obligated to proceed to a doctor’s consultation even after completing it.

About insurance
No, unfortunately you can’t claim Mateship consultations through Medicare right now.
It’s a good idea to contact your health insurer before making a claim. While many private health insurers cover some or all of the costs, some major providers still don’t include unapproved medicine in their coverage.
